Bupa Great Manchester Run 2010 

In this years Bupa Great Manchester Run Charlotte's shining star had four volunteer runners taking part and collecting for the Young Oncology Unit at the Christie.

The Volunteers were Peter Buckingham, Kevin Morrissey, Donna Murray and Mark Woods.

The charity have had representatives at the last two runs with Charlotte herself completing the race in 2009 with the help of family, friends and a wheelchair.

The race is a great event and allows us not only to raise funds but also promote awareness of Cervical cancer.

 The lads ran in the first "orange" wave and completed the 10K with some very respectable times ranging from 45 to 55 minutes.

Maybe next year they can beat these times !

In th 2011 race we hope to be represented again, so look out for our Logo on the back of the runners shirts.

We are also looking to distribute our awareness leaflets and have our petiton signed.

On the right you can see Donna in sight of the finishing line and still smiling. She completed the race in just over an hour.
